How Charty's charts work

Charty doesn't compile its own chart — it mirrors four charts that already exist, refreshes them on a schedule, and adds instant playback. Here's exactly what's tracked and where it comes from.

Sources

• Glglz Israeli (גלגלץ ישראלי) — the Hebrew-language chart from Galgalatz, the Israeli army radio station's music channel, one of the country's most-cited pop radio charts.
• Glglz International (גלגלץ בינלאומי) — the same station's English-language / international chart.
• iTunes Top 25 — Apple's official Israel iTunes chart, pulled from Apple's public RSS feed.
• Shazam Israel Top 200 — Israel's most-identified tracks on Shazam. Because Shazam's own site blocks automated access, this feed is mirrored from kworb.net, a well-known third-party chart archive that republishes Shazam's public data.

Update schedule

A scraper runs on a schedule each day, shortly after each source's own data resets, and commits the new chart data straight to the site — so what you see here is generally no more than a day behind the original source. A new chart only gets archived to the History page once the underlying source actually publishes a new one — not every night the scraper happens to run.

Why some tracks don't play

Every track links to a matching YouTube video where one is available. Some labels or rights holders disable embedding on outside sites — when that happens, Charty shows a direct "Watch on YouTube" link instead of forcing a broken player.

Something look wrong?

Chart data is pulled automatically and can occasionally mismatch a title or miss a video. If you spot an error, use the Contact link and it'll get fixed.
